The Cost of Living
It’s amazing how prices of normal everyday commoditities have sky rocketed… We do most of our shopping in Costco and just a year ago a bunch of bananas cost 99 cents, now they are a dollar and thirty cents… So, I though I would list a few commodities and their prices… I wonder how they compare with the rest of the country?! So, if you read this, please go ahead and post your area/state, and the prices there. We live in Northern Virginia. It’s amazing how expensive your grocery bill can be nowadays and we don’t usually have snacks, fast foods or junk food in our cart either…

A candy bar $1.25 ( Hershey Milk Chocolate Giant)
A gallon of gas $2.30
A bunch of bananas $1.30
Coke (2 ltr) $1.69
