I can’t believe how fast time flies! In less than a 100 days, we’re going to be welcoming the newest member of our family! In the meantime, life has been pretty hectic. We gone on a picnic with the G.O.A.N association.
As pregnancies go, I guess it’s been uneventful so far. All the tests have been coming in great and baby is fine, moving around a lot. Weight gains been good too, just right. But my hips and back are just not the same any more. I can’t climb up and down stairs easily and in the nights, it takes a while to get comfortable because my right hip hurts a lot. A few days I just give in and take Tylenol because I can’t sleep for the pain. Any activity pretty much ensures I am in pain - gardening, carrying Anthony, even normal housework like loading the washer and dryer, sweeping the kitchen or vacuuming. Pretty ridiculous for a mom of three boys, huh? Oh well, pain is supposed to build character, right?!
Alexander has spent a week at his cousin’s. The kids have been enjoying their little pool. Alexander has been keeping up with his work as well. I’ve explained the concept of fractions to him and he’s become quite the “clock” expert. We’ve been working on his writing too.
Aaron’s just starting on writing the alphabet as well. He’s our resident musician. Loves singing and pretending to play the guitar. Anthony is talking more consistently. He says words like “more”, “I want that”, no, milk, up, there, ball, hot. He even said “Aaron” and “Alex” today while playing. I was amazed! Aaron was pointing a toy gun at him and saying “shoot, shoot”. To which he replied “No Aaron!”. I got him to say “Alex” as well and he did repeat Aaron one more time but after that he would not.
Been busy in the garden too. Here’s a slideshow of my garden from this spring to now. I have some new shots to include as I wanted to take full shots. As soon as I do that I will post some more pictures. I’ve also started to learn to crochet. I am currently working on a doily. When I am done, will post a picture of that as well.

This weekend was great weather wise! I have no idea what’s up with the weather this year… We hit 72 F this Saturday! Friday was not bad either and yesterday was a little windy but still alright at around 59 F. I am surprised! We have been getting rain consistently but none of it has been freezing rain or snow or ice… it’s just been too warm! It’s gotten cooler since yesterday but will warm up by Friday again and they’re predicting 60s and 70s again for the weekend!
In other news, Alexander starts soccer clinic this Tuesday once a week until the second week of Febuary. It’s offered by his school as part of their afterschool enrichment. We will be enrolling him in soccer this spring so I thought it would help him. Also, it will hopefully get rid of some of that excess energy. It will be held indoors in the gym so that’s good as well. Alexander is very excited.
This weekend was pretty quiet… we did go drive to my BILs new office as DH will be driving him to work initially…. I can see we will be in for a few days of longer commutes and later arrivals.
In more news, I am working on keeping up with my 2007 resolutions. Tracking progress will hopefully keep me going and not stop half way through the year or worse within a month or two…
I’ve definitely been fighting the #3 urge… so far so good! I am on target for #7 too! I started with the Old Testament. I am following this online website I found which outlines an order by which to read the Bible. I started with Genesis. I just finished Chapter 28 today. By the end of this week, I will be done with Genesis and Exodus. Still struggling with keeping up the prayer habits though and also #10… to lose 10 lbs… I wish I could atleast exercise two days a week. I am sure it would help!
Working on the cleaning and laundry schedules. I hope to have them up here within this week…
