Hi! My name is Amanda and I live in a very busy, sometimes chaotic, household with my husband and three boys. My husband and I both worked in the world of Information Technology. My husband still works in IT. I, however, gave up my career in 2006 to be home with the kids. I am still adjusting to life as a stay at home mom. My oldest started kindergarten in 2006 and my secomd will probably start preschool a couple of days a week this year.
I guess, now we should move onto an introduction of moi. I am a mom to three boys and I can tell you that this has been a culture shock for me! I come from a family of all girls and, having never had brothers, all this extra testesterone in my surroundings nowadays can be very nerve racking! I am not a “pro” anything but I’ve breastfed all three children (still breastfeeding the last). We also co-sleep. All because we just found it easier to do so… Laziness on our part I guess…
I’ve been blogging on and off since the birth of my first son in 2001 and I must say keeping up a blog was easier in my working days. At least then, I could dedicate my lunch hour to blogging. Now, more often then not, it’s a hit-or-miss affair.
