Another busy weekend!
This weekend was equally busy. Friday was freezingly cold here in the DC area. I dropped Alexander off at the school bus stop and had to wait as the bus was a little late. Of course, I didn’t wear a hat. By the time I got back home, my ears were numb. I could not feel them at all!
Saturday was busy. We had a baptism to attend and we were out most of the day. The kids had fun as the party afterwards was at a Firehouse. They got to go visit the Firetrucks and see how everything is run. They spent at least a half hour down there. Then they came up to play with the other games set up there. There was a small golf putting system and a couple of other games. We got to catch up with friends. There won’t be a kids Christmas party as several families are going to be away on vacation this Christmas. So, we’ll probably not be seeing each other until Spring.
Sunday was a beautiful and warm day. After church and dropping Alexander off at CCD, we did some grocery chopping, came back home and then after lunch, put up the outside lights finally. We are all decorated up for Christmas now! I am waiting on some final touches for my Christmas Village and the Nativity scene but other than that done!
