Christmas Meme
I thought it was time to do a Christmas meme. Did an Internet search and this was what I saw on several blogs.
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
I love them both!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Definitely wraps them all!
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Colored on the house and white on the tree.
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope.
5. When do you put your decorations up?
Any weekend after Thanksgiving. Depends on when I get a chance to get them out. The process also takes a few days, since most of it is done by me with help/hindrance from the children
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
All of it!
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
The way mom and dad made it so special for us children. When we were old enough, we helped decorate the house and even made home made decorations. The getting ready for Christmas was very special.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
Don’t really remember.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No we do not. All gifts are opened Christmas Morning after mass.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
With three destructive boys in our house, things have to be pretty indestructible. No glass ornaments here. I do put up my lenox ornaments though. Instead of balls, I use red and gold bows.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
I love the look of snow! It’s beautiful! However, driving in it after things turn to ice can be harrowing… we have so many crazy drivers here - the slow crawlers and the people who think they are indestructible in their 4×4 SUV…
12. Can you ice skate?
Nope. But I love to watch the ice skating competitions. They are just so graceful!
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
I don’t have one.
14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
I love the fact that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus, our Savior! He was born to save us! The message of Hope, Joy, Peace, Love and Salvation is really powerful during this season.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
I love the cakes and traditional Goan Christmas Sweets especially kulkuls and marzipans.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
We have Christmas lunch as a family.

17. What tops your tree?
It varies. Either a Gold Star or an Angel with fibreoptic wings.
18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving?
Both! I love giving… the happiness on the receiver makes me happy. I love receiving too… in a way it shows you care too.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
The Traditional Carols are the best! Silent Night. O’ Holy Night, Away in a Manger, While Shepherds watched their sheep, Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing et al!
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum?
I don’t hate them. I just don’t eat them now. I definitely did as a kid.
