The Weekend
On Saturday, I got a haircut… Here’s a before and after picture
On Sunday, we went to the DC G.O.A St. Francis Xavier celebration. It was held in Maryland. We had a great time! It started with a mass at 12 noon, then we had a Goan food buffet and after that there was dancing. I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since I last danced with my husband! The kids had fun, too. Aaron met a few girls his age and he played with them. They also came to the dance floor with us. In true Goan style there were a few group dances… the chicken dance, the hokey pokey, cent-5 cent-10 cent- dollar, and the electric. All fun to watch as well as do. We were spectators as Anthony was getting ready to nap and wanted me. After that they did a few slow dances for all the couples. After that they had the G.O.A elections and after that it was back to dance music. We started back around 4:45 pm. The beltway was jammed up as usual so by the time we got back it was 6 pm.
