We’re that close to the airport! This plane is about to land… the landing strip is right next to the parish grounds.

    I once lived about 1/2 mile from the end of an airforce base… nothing wakes you up like B-52’s at 4:30 in the morning…

    That’s pretty close. I remember when I was in 2nd grade living near the airforce base; man those suckers were loud.
