Most of these are by Enid Blyton, a British author.

    Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys were regular reading here as well. The Boxcar Children were touched upon briefly, but they didn’t really hold my interest. Very nice idea for a list!

    Oooh yes, The Boxcar Children. I forgot all about that series. And Nancy Drew! I wanted to BE Nancy Drew growing up. lol

    They sure don’t make stories like that anymore.

    Some of those I’m not familiar with but I remember reading the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew and Trixie :))

    Great list! I love Nancy Drew! I read every book of hers I could get my hands on! My son really likes The Hardy Boys, too!

    I’ve only read a few of those. You sure did like series books, didn’t you! I’m curious about a few others and will look them up at the library next time I go.

    I read most every Nancy Drew I could get my hands on, and some Hardy Boys and Bobbsie Twins too :) Great list, I haven’t thought about those in quite a while!

    I’ve read #1, 2 and 9. Almost had forgotten about them though, until you reminded me now :-)

    I bet every one know of Nancy Drew…. Quite a classic.

    Yeah! sis those were the days…
    Reading was always so much fun…. remeber hiding in the loo with the books & in boarding as well, under the covers with a torch….
