Feast One Hundred & Eight

Appetizer
- If you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?

  • A Crochet magazine - I am learning to crochet.
  • A good kids magazine, which would keep my son occupied with a few activities.

Soup - Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).

The living room is pretty simple. It has a couple of sofas, three chairs, a coffee table, two accent tables, a storage table for magazines. The upholstery and rug are mostly shades of reds. The woods are all dark or cherry. There’s a small curio cabinet in one corner with my collectibles. There’s a small wall fountain on another corner. There a small mantle against the largest walls with a painting above it of fruit. There’s another painting of flowers on the side wall. The mantle has family pictures on it. We have some cream lace curtains on the windows.

Salad - What does the shape of a circle make you think of?

Eternity… God’s love endures forever. Everything in this world follows the cycle of life…

Main Course - Name 3 things in your life that you consider to be absolute necessities.

I am just going to assume you don’t mean the physical necessities of food, water, air and shelter.

Jesus - The knowledge that Jesus died for us, to save us to bring us Eternal Life. Without true belief, I think life becomes a rat race of always trying to find that something that defines you and fullfils; but with true belief comes a freedom and confidence.

Love - The love of my family i.e. my God, my parents, sisters, husband and children. Love gives me purpose. Making the people I love happy makes me happy. When I know I have hurt/disappointed even one person I love, it makes me very sad.

Goals - to strive for, to learn new things. Goals renew you, give you a sense of achievement, keep the ole noggin working.

Dessert - What was the last really funny movie you watched?

Have not seen any movies in a while but I do like watching “Everybody loves Raymond”. I think I saw “Dunstan Checks in” a few months ago on TV again. That was funny!
