Thirteen Things about Amanda’s twin sister

  1. We were born on July 23, 1971.
  2. We were born around 5 minutes apart.
  3. We did everything together until we completed our Bachelor’s. Only then did we go our seperate ways. She did a diploma in Computers and started working. I started on my Masters in Computers
  4. We look alike… she’s prettier.
  5. When we were kids… I used to be jealous… all the boys liked her.
  6. In school, I was better at Math, she was better in English. She used to write stories and poems. She still writes poems.
  7. She was married October 18, 1997 but she waited for me so we could have our kids together! Our first children were born just over a month apart and our second children were less than a month apart… This was not planned!
  8. She’s the brave one… never usually lets things slide without confronting them head on.
  9. Here’s a picture taken of her recently in Indian costume. Isn’t she beautiful…

  10. This is her oldest daughter. This was taken in March this year at the Miramar Beach in Goa, where we were visiting our parents

    I visited your sister’s blog first (by way of a Thursday 13 post), and found yours here. Her account in the form of a Thursday 13 was very harrowing. Thank God she made it through OK.

    i always wondered what it would be like to have a twin. when she was in that train when the blast happened, did you have any insight or feeling that something was going on with her? i’ve always heard that twins know when something is wrong with the other one so i just wondered if you knew or had that feeling?

    thanks for sharing your t13! you are both beautiful and i think it’s very sweet that she waited for you to have kids so you could have them together!!!!!!

    How wonderful for both of you to not only have your kids together, but to do most of everything together. That’s amazing! Sisters are special, I wish I had one. I have 3 daughters, and I notice the special love they have for each other.

    My boys are fraternal twins and I wonder how they are going to end up living their lives, if they will want to do things together or separtately. I’m looking forward to watching them continue to develop as individuals.
