Thirteen Things about Amanda’s Home

  1. We live in Single Family home on a .5 acre lot
  2. Here’s a picture:

  3. The lot size is pretty big for Northern Virginia. Most houses here are very closely spaced together
  4. Here’s the backyard:

  5. The most lived in room in the house is the family room.

  7. The other most used room in our house is the kitchen
  8. We have four bedrooms and three and half bathrooms
  9. We finished the basement last year…. so now there’s a kitchenette and bathroom down there.
  10. The two car garage is used for everything but parking the cars!
  11. The eliiptical trainer and weight machine are kept in the garage.

    Oh my gosh. I can’t believe that this huge house is one of the smallest ones in your area. This baby is huge and beautiful. You guys are very lucky!

    Love the front porch. And a finished basement? Ooooo, I’m jealous - we really want one, but opted to stay here in our current home. Everyone in this area gets water in their basement any time it rains a lot, so finishing it would really be a waste of time. :)

    Wow looks like mine just flipped the other way! Kewl! yeah, till the kids grew up you could forget putting the cars in the garage. Now finally I can fit two if I want.
    Now the storage room where all my children have left boxes full of stuff they don’t want to throw out, but, don’t want at their houses is still overwhelming the storage area.

    nice house. We have a 3 car garage and can barely squeeze one car in it only because I stubbornly isnist that I park the new car in it. My tt is up

    Wow, what a lovely home. Our little nest is 950 square feet…just big enough for the two of us. The kids can come visit but they can’t live with us! (tee hee!)
