Munchkin update
Anthony has just sprouted his first teeth! The two bottom ones have come in together… he’s been practising using them while nursing… what joy! I can see spots of white on his upper gums, so I think those are not far behind either. I can see new nursing challenges looming on the horizon! He says “Da Da”, “Ga Ga” and makes other noises as well…
So now I have a standing, crawling, chomping, vocal little fella on my hands!
Alexander is working on more sight words… He’s writing a few every day. So, hopefully he’ll learn to read them soon. He’s becoming a real challenge to parent… I can see I will have my hands full with him… Aaron is usually not aggressive and will listen but not Alexander. On Sunday, after church, we stopped by Lowes to buy some things we needed for the basement. While we were there, Aaron picked up a Dora storybook and was walking around with it. He wanted it and I was okay with that until I saw the price - $10 for a children’s story book?! I said they could not have it and asked the cashier to put it back. Well, that brought on a screaming fit from Aaron that lasted all of five minutes… I was okay with it… He has to learn he can’t get every thing. When we get in the car, Alexander starts this conversation…
Alexander: Mom, Aaron wanted that book and you did not buy it for him.
Me: That’s alright. It cost too much.
Alexander: No, when Aaron wants something, you should give it to him! That’s it!
Me: That’s not the way it works. You have to learn that you don’t always get what you want.
Alexander: Then mom, you are a naughty girl…
Me: Huh?
Alexander: If you don’t listen to us, you are a naughty girl.
Me: That’s fine… but I’m the naughty girl that makes the rules…
Aaron is learning new phrases every day… On Sunday after mass, Angelo was taking off Aaron’s pants and diaper so he could go sit on the potty. As he was pulling down the zipper, Aaron says, “Hey, go slow Dad!” in this very shocked voice. We both looked at each other and burst out laughing!
In other news, I finally saw a little sunshine today after cloudy, rainy days since Friday. I think all the rain is supposed to end by today and tomorrow will partly cloudy but hot. We jump from 78 F to 90 F!

Hi Amanda
Good to know everyone’s well and happy - Yeah! kids sure say darned things!! Amusing!! Anthony is surely growing so fast already!!
Cho Chweet….!!! My sweethearts… really keep you on your toes… My terrible twosome is no better. They think everything they want is everything they need… & Ralph very rarely corrects them on that front…
