Thursday Thirteen #45
- Took the kids to the playground and played with them
- Cleaned the upstairs - 3 bedrooms (the 4th is still a dumping ground), 2 bathrooms and the bonus room.
- Cleaned downstairs living room, dining room and powder room.
- Cleaned out computer desk. It was cluttered with print outs for boy#1 and CDs.
- Lost 2 lbs! YAY!
- Worked on my contribution to this
- Designed and uploaded the frontpage of my website and while it may not be really great. I learned something new in Photoshop… that made me happy. I learned to slice, and designed the whole look in Photoshop.
- Taught Boy# 1 how to write his name, address & phone number
- Taught him to read the sight words - little, yellow, said, you, me. He already knew red, mom, dad, one two, and, on, in.
- Started boy#2 on the potty… he’s doing okay as long as he doesn’t have a diaper on but he is definitely missing the diaper. He comes to me and asks for his diaper!
- Watched the FIFA World Cup 2006 Matches. Viva Brazil!
- Organized the children’s toys. I got the wire cubes and put them up near the dinette. Now the kids have a place to keep their toys. On the look out for a book shelf now for their books.
- Cooked, cooked and cooked some more! We had guests this weekend. Angelo’s brother, his wife and her mom and their daughter were here.
