The Copa Mundial 2006 fever has well & truly hit our family!

Spent all weekend watching the matches and most evenings weekdays watching the replays. So far, except for the Sweden - Trinidad draw no major upsets. But, I must say, the major players, besides Germany, have failed to impress, so far. I was disappointed with England and Portugal. Christiano Ronaldo was posturing too much and failed to live upto expectations. I was impressed with Mexico. They came back well to win convincingly. Argentina, too, should have played much better. Ivory Coast gave them a good run… they do need to improve on their finishing though… Germany was really good though. I was suitably impressed. Today, USA plays the Czechs… tough group that for the US. I don’t see them getting to round two unless they pull off something major… I just hope they don’t get too massacered today!

1. I have a picture of a beach scene on my computer desktop.
2. There is an oil painting of flowers hanging on my living room walls. We do have pictures on the mantle of the family, one of us on our wedding day, one of the family, and a few of the kids.
3. My big goal for this week is to ?!. What big goals? If I can get through each day less than exhausted, I am happy!
4. I plan to visit at least 20 blogs this week. I will attempt to visit more than this but this is my minimum, I think.
5. The weather we’re having right now is cooler, rainy and damp . I have no idea what happened to the hot weather we were having two weeks ago. Last week was quite okay though but the weekend was cool and windy and we woke up this morning to rain and even cooler tempeeratures!
6. I really should clean the house more often. However with three kids, and cooking for everyone, it usually has to wait till the weekend or sometimes every other weekend!
