Monday Madness #3
- I have broken no bones in my lifetime.
- I have had to get 12 stitches. This is on my knee, so I actually had to get 6 sutures inside and six sutures on the outside. I was playing badminton with a friend and fell on a piece of concrete. My dad took one look at my attempt to use bandaid on it and said we had to go to the doctor. The doctor said he could not stitch it up since it was on the knee and I had to the ER to get it sutured up.
- The worst I’ve ever injured myself was when I hurt my knee. I have been pretty blessed to be injury free except for a cuts and bruises. I did fall down the stairs as a kid but nothing bad happened… and once when I fighting my sister as a child, I banged the top of my head and there was a lot of blood all over but I didn’t need stitches for the wound.
- I’ve had to go to the Emergency room 1 time. See above!
- On a scale of 1 (being the highest) to 10 (being the lowest), my pain tolerance is a 7. I had two completely unmedicated L&D. I think that qualifies me for a 7.
Amanda, The natural L&D def qualifies you for a 7! You go girl! I am a wimp. Your mention of a squabble with your sister, reminded me of a time when my sister through a broken record at me, and it smashed into my forehead. I still have the scar where it stuck, but no stitches.
I enjoyed my visit. Have a great week!
Hi Amanda, I never thought about Labour with regards pain threshold -they do say you don’t remember it afterwards, don’t they- until i saw another MM’ers post (yes i am following you Trista and i can’t help but giggle at your tales of woe *LOL) …the last comment i made was about an epidural for my first born- but my second was all natural.. altho she was only a 3lb dot when she was born -is that cheating =))
I think i might be getting your share of unfortunate mishaps Amanda
