Monday Madness on Wednesday!
With the letters from Memorial Day, let us know what you did this past weekend
Mulch. Saturday morning we drove to the county recycling yard and got us some mulch. We mulched the trees out front and the planting area near the mailbox. I think we need one more trip for the trees behind the house.
Enjoyed a quiet Memorial Day at home just relaxing and taking the kids to the park to play.
Made some bread and butter pudding on Moday to have with tea. Yes, tea is a meal for us… a throwback from the days of being ruled by the Europeans.
Ordered the wire storage cubes to organize the kids toys & laundry room. Hopefully, I will be able to free up some floor space in the family room!
Reorganized the laundry room. Moved all the tools to the garage. Clearred the top of the washer and dryer which was cluttered with all sorts of things!
Installed the Photosop CS on my computer. I can’t wait for some free time to get started on learning this tool!
Ate some vanilla icecream with chocolate sauce. Yumm!
Laughed a lot! With three boys you can always be sure there will be lots of opportunities to laugh!
Drove down to Colonial Beach. We thought we would take the kids for some fishing and sight seeing. However, we ended up thinking the trip a waste of time. It takes too long to get there and I don’t call that tiny strip a beach!
Arranged the formal living room. I still have some work to do here but most of it is done! Now if I can only keep the kids out of this room!
Yelled a lot… Nothing new here. With three kids, there’s always a lot of yelling going on here too!
Great answers! DH has Photoshop CS and loves it! He is a photojournalist and uses Photoshop all the time at work. I prefer Paint Shop Pro, for making graphics and stuff. It makes for interesting discussions, sometimes!
Gosh! Amanda, looks like you & the family sure had a super hectic but fun memorial day w/end! You see, thats the difference living across the globe - especially living out like in the Gulf where you travels are kind of limited. As for Bahrain being quite small an island, the closest I guess you could go would be the next island away, even then, not exciting, considering its all sand & sea kind of thing! Still…… would love to trade a weekend with you guys, sounds much fun!!!
Wow Amanda.. wounds like you had a busy weekend- i yelled too =/ …in the UK we had a Bank Holiday Weekend- something that really does relate to the banking vocation from days gone by… I still used the letters Otto provided and its great to read what other MM’ers did with their weekend =)
