Bike Rally at Aaron's Preschool

Bike Rally

Last Friday, Aaron’s preschool had a bike rally for all the children. He was the only kid in his class with a two wheel bike and no training wheels. To the children’s delight, after the rally, they all got medals for diifferent reasons and popsicles. Aaron got one for being the fastest rider. He was really happy because he’s one of the fastest runners in his class too. In fact, one of his friends calls him “Speedy Smoke” Aaron. He loves it! Here are some pictures from the rally

Another active weekend

We had another busy and active weekend. On Saturday, Alexander and Aaron both had soccer. Alexander’s game was at 10 am. He was happy since he scored the first goal for his team and the team won as well. Then Aaron’s game was at 1 pm. Angelo took him and Anthony while I had the other two and an errand at the post office which took an hour to complete. We came back a few minutes before they did. Aaron was happy too. He scored 5 goals. Then it was time for Angelo to leave for his game. The kids relaxed a while but by 4:30 were ready to get back outside on their bikes and play with the neighborhood kids. Angelo got home around 6:30. There was very little time for me to cook so we decided to take the kids to the nearby town festival. We got there around 8 pm, ate and then wandered around. The kids played a few games and we saw the fireworks display but we could not get in the carnival area. It was too full and they closed it to new entries. The kids were upset so we told them we would come back on Sunday.

Sunday morning after mass, we drove to the carnival. The kids enjoyed themselves and had fun on the rides. Alexander wanted to get on the Ferris Wheel but after one ride with him on the Star Tooper ride and I was done. His dad was not willing to take him on the Ferris Wheel either. He did take him on the Dodge’ em cars. By 1 pm it was hot and we were ready to head home. In the evening, we took them to a local park to play and then went for a walk before heading home for dinner and to get ready for the new week.
